DESCRIPTION
The rocker lever, with part number 4311991 and manufactured by Cummins®, is a component in the valve train system of a commercial truck's engine. Its primary function is to transfer the upward motion from the camshaft to the intake and exhaust valves, allowing them to open and close at the proper timing and duration. The rocker lever helps regulate the flow of air and fuel into the combustion chamber and allows the exhaust gases to be expelled efficiently.
