DESCRIPTION
Socket Set Screw (Part Number 135882, Make: Cummins®): A socket set screw, also known as a grub screw, is a small threaded fastener commonly used in automotive applications. Its purpose is to securely hold two components together by applying pressure through the use of an internal hex socket or Allen key. The socket set screw is designed to be tightened into a pre-drilled hole, usually threaded, within one of the components. Once tightened, it creates a strong and reliable connection, preventing the parts from coming apart under normal operating conditions.
