DESCRIPTION
A Hexagon Flange Head Cap Screw, also known as a bolt, is a threaded fastener that is designed to be used with a nut for joining two or more components together. The flanged head of this screw has six sides and provides a larger bearing surface than a regular hex head screw. This makes it ideal for applications where high clamping force is required. The cap screw has an external hex drive that requires the use of a wrench or socket to tighten it.
