DESCRIPTION
The Studded Flange Cap Screw (part number 3161896) is a type of fastener used in Cummins® commercial truck engines. It is a screw with a flanged head and a stud protruding from the bottom of the flange. The stud is used to secure the screw in place and prevent it from rotating. This type of screw is commonly used in high-stress applications where a regular bolt or screw may not be strong enough.
