DESCRIPTION
A seal is a component used in trucks to prevent leakage of fluids or gases from one area to another. The 3164814 seal, also known as a crankshaft rear oil seal, is installed at the back of the engine block and seals the crankshaft where it exits the engine. This prevents engine oil from leaking out and contaminating other parts of the truck. The 3164814 seal is made of durable materials and must be replaced if it becomes worn or damaged to maintain proper engine function.
