DESCRIPTION
The Crankshaft Seal Installer (Part Number: 5298858) is a tool used in the installation of the crankshaft seal in an engine. The crankshaft seal is responsible for preventing oil leaks from the front of the engine, and it is located behind the harmonic balancer. The installer tool helps ensure that the seal is installed correctly and evenly, avoiding any potential damage to the seal or surrounding components. It is designed to fit snugly over the end of the crankshaft and applies even pressure to seat the new seal properly. This tool can be used on a variety of engines and makes replacing a faulty crankshaft seal much easier and more efficient.
