DESCRIPTION
A crankshaft seal kit is a set of components used to replace the seals on the crankshaft of an engine. The kit typically includes a front and rear seal, as well as any necessary gaskets or o-rings. The purpose of these seals is to prevent oil from leaking out of the engine and onto other components, such as the transmission or exhaust system. Over time, these seals can wear out or become damaged, leading to oil leaks that can cause damage to the engine if left unchecked. Replacing the seals with a new kit can help ensure that the engine stays properly lubricated and protected from damage caused by oil leaks.
