DESCRIPTION
A position sensor is an electronic device that measures the position of a component and sends that information to the engine control module. The Cummins® 4002064 position sensor is specifically designed for use in Cummins® diesel engines and is responsible for monitoring the position of the engine's camshaft. This information is used by the engine control module to determine the timing of fuel injection and other engine functions.
