DESCRIPTION
A Fluid Level Sensor, also known as a fluid level switch, is an electronic device that monitors the levels of fluids within a vehicle's engine or transmission. The Fluid Level Sensor uses a float mechanism to detect the level of fluid in the reservoir and sends this information to the vehicle's computer system. The computer system then uses this information to determine if there is enough fluid present for proper operation of the component. When the fluid level falls below a certain point, it can trigger an alert on the dashboard to indicate that it is time for a refill. The Fluid Level Sensor can be found in various places throughout a vehicle's engine or transmission, including oil pans, coolant reservoirs, and transmission pans. Part Number C6204717230 corresponds to a specific type of Fluid Level Sensor used in trucks manufactured by certain companies.
