DESCRIPTION
Drive Shaft: The drive shaft is a component of a truck's drivetrain that delivers power from the engine to the wheels. It consists of a long metal shaft with universal joints at each end to allow for movement and flexibility. The drive shaft rotates as the engine runs, transferring torque to the wheels and enabling the truck to move. Steering Wheel: The steering wheel is a circular component located in front of the driver's seat that allows for control over the direction of a truck. It connects to various steering components, such as the steering column and gearbox, which work together to turn the front wheels. The steering wheel can be adjusted for height and angle, and often includes additional controls for features such as audio and cruise control. Brake Rotor: The brake rotor is part of a truck's braking system that works with brake pads to slow or stop the vehicle. It is a flat, disc-shaped component that rotates with the wheel hub assembly. When pressure is applied to the brake pedal, hydraulic fluid forces brake calipers to squeeze brake pads against both sides of the rotor surface, creating friction that slows down or stops rotation. Brake rotors can wear down over time due to heat and friction, requiring replacement when they become too thin or damaged beyond repair. Part Number 3522879 refers specifically to one type or model of Brake Rotor used in trucks.
