DESCRIPTION
A shutoff valve, also known as a fuel shutoff solenoid or cutoff valve, is a component found in diesel engines that controls the flow of fuel to the engine. The 3035342 shutoff valve is commonly used in Cummins engines and works by cutting off the supply of fuel to the engine when it is turned off. This prevents diesel from entering the combustion chamber and causing damage to the engine. The shutoff valve can be manually or electronically controlled and plays an important role in ensuring safe and efficient operation of diesel engines.
