DESCRIPTION
A shutoff valve, also known as a fuel shutoff solenoid valve, is an essential component of a diesel engine. The 3417158 shutoff valve is responsible for controlling the flow of fuel into the engine by opening and closing based on electrical signals from the engine control unit. It is typically located in the fuel injection pump and works by blocking or allowing fuel to flow through the pump's internal passages.
