DESCRIPTION
A Fuel Injector Sleeve, also known as a fuel injector nozzle sleeve, is a cylindrical component made of metal that surrounds the fuel injector in a diesel engine. The fuel injector sleeve provides a secure seal between the fuel injector and the cylinder head, preventing leaks and ensuring proper flow of fuel into the combustion chamber. Over time, wear and tear can cause damage to the sleeve, leading to leaks and decreased engine performance. Replacement of worn or damaged sleeves is essential for maintaining optimal engine function.
