DESCRIPTION
The Starter Solenoid with part number 3016982 is a component of the starting system in a truck. It is responsible for engaging the starter motor to crank the engine when the ignition key is turned. The solenoid works by using an electrical current to create a magnetic field that pulls a plunger, which in turn connects the battery to the starter motor. This action causes the starter motor to spin and engage with the flywheel, thus starting up the engine.
