DESCRIPTION
A Starting Motor Spacer, also known by its part number 3917683, is a small but critical component in a truck's starting system. This spacer is typically used to properly position the starter motor in relation to the flywheel or flexplate, ensuring that the starter engages with the teeth on the flywheel or flexplate correctly. Without this spacer, there may be insufficient clearance between the starter and flywheel or flexplate, causing damage to both components and potentially preventing the engine from starting.
