DESCRIPTION
Spark Plug (Part Number: 4390446, Make: Cummins®):
A spark plug is an essential component of the ignition system in an internal combustion engine. It is a device that fits into the engine cylinder head and ignites the air-fuel mixture by creating an electric spark. The spark plug consists of a center electrode, which is surrounded by an insulator and a metal shell. When the electrical current flows through the spark plug, it generates a spark at the gap between the center electrode and the ground electrode, igniting the compressed air-fuel mixture in the combustion chamber. This controlled ignition process initiates the power stroke in the engine, allowing it to generate power and operate efficiently.
