DESCRIPTION
The Coolant Level Switch (part number 3348814) is a component in a truck's cooling system that monitors the level of coolant in the radiator. The switch is typically located at the bottom of the radiator and contains a float that moves up and down with changes in coolant level. When the coolant level drops below a certain point, the float triggers an electrical signal which alerts the driver to add more coolant to prevent overheating. This switch plays an important role in maintaining optimal engine temperature and preventing engine damage due to overheating.
