DESCRIPTION
A Pressure Switch, also known as a pressure sensor, is an electronic component that measures the pressure of a fluid in a system and sends a signal to the vehicle's computer to adjust the engine's performance. The part number 3628750 is specific to trucks and is designed to monitor the oil pressure in the engine. If the oil pressure drops below a certain level, the switch will trigger an alert or warning light on the dashboard. This helps prevent damage to the engine by alerting drivers when there may be an issue with oil flow. The switch is typically located near or on top of the engine block and must be replaced if it becomes faulty or damaged.
