DESCRIPTION
A tilt switch is an electronic sensor that detects the orientation of a vehicle and sends a signal to the engine control module to adjust the engine's performance accordingly. The Cummins® tilt switch part number 3870882 is specifically designed for commercial trucks and is used to monitor the angle of the vehicle during operation.
