DESCRIPTION
The Clutch Switch, also known as part number 3871395, is a component of a truck's clutch system. This switch is responsible for detecting whether the clutch pedal is engaged or not. When the driver presses down on the clutch pedal, it signals to the switch that the pedal is engaged and allows for the ignition to start. On the other hand, if the driver does not press down on the clutch pedal, then this switch will prevent the engine from starting altogether. The Clutch Switch plays an important role in ensuring safe and efficient operation of a truck by preventing accidental starts while in gear or when shifting gears.
