DESCRIPTION
A thermo switch is an electrical component in a truck's cooling system that is responsible for turning on and off the radiator fan based on the engine temperature. The Thermo Switch with part number 3906274 is specifically designed for use in Cummins engines. When the engine reaches a certain temperature, the switch activates and sends a signal to the radiator fan to turn on and cool down the engine, preventing overheating. Once the engine cools down to a safe temperature, the switch deactivates and turns off the radiator fan. This process helps maintain optimal performance of both the engine and cooling system, ensuring efficient operation of your truck.
