DESCRIPTION
The Starter Switch, also known as part number 3978309, is an electrical component of a truck's starting system. It is typically located on the steering column or dashboard and is used to engage the starter motor when turning the key in the ignition. The switch consists of multiple contact points that allow for a connection between the battery and starter motor when engaged. This connection then allows for the engine to turn over and start. If there are issues with starting the vehicle or if there is no response when turning the key, it may be necessary to check or replace the starter switch.
