DESCRIPTION
A Thermo Switch, also known as a temperature sensor or thermal switch, is an automotive component that monitors the temperature of the engine coolant. The Thermo Switch is typically located near the engine and sends signals to the engine control module (ECM) to adjust fuel injection and ignition timing. It helps ensure optimal engine performance by preventing overheating or overcooling of the engine. Part Number C0309058700 is a specific Thermo Switch used in certain truck models and should be replaced if it fails to accurately detect coolant temperature.
