DESCRIPTION
A temperature sensor is an electronic device that measures the temperature of a particular component or area of a vehicle and sends the information to the engine control module. The Cummins® 3165793 temperature sensor is designed to work specifically with Cummins® engines and is responsible for monitoring the temperature of the engine coolant. This information is used by the engine control module to adjust fuel injection timing and other engine parameters to optimize performance and reduce emissions.
