DESCRIPTION
The thermostat housing gasket is a sealing component that is placed between the engine block and the thermostat housing to prevent coolant leaks. It is designed to withstand high temperatures and pressure, and is made of materials such as rubber, cork, or silicone. The Cummins® 174198 thermostat housing gasket is specifically designed for use in Cummins® engines.
