DESCRIPTION
The Thermostat Housing is a component used in the engine cooling system of a truck. It is responsible for holding the thermostat in place and connecting it to the engine block. The housing is typically made of aluminum or plastic, and it includes ports for coolant to flow through. The Part Number 3001013 may be specific to a certain make and model of truck, but generally, thermostat housings are interchangeable between vehicles with similar engine configurations. If the thermostat housing becomes damaged or cracked, it can cause leaks and overheating issues in the engine. Replacement is relatively simple and can prevent more serious problems down the road.
