The Thermostat Housing Support is a component of a truck's cooling system which is designed to secure the thermostat housing in place. The part number for this particular component is 3031478. The purpose of the thermostat housing support is to prevent the thermostat housing from moving or vibrating excessively, which could cause it to break or leak coolant. The support is typically made of durable materials such as metal or plastic and may be bolted or screwed onto the engine block or cylinder head.
