Thermostat
The thermostat (part number 3640754) is a component of the engine cooling system in a truck. It is responsible for regulating the temperature of the engine by controlling the flow of coolant through the radiator. The thermostat works by opening and closing a valve that allows coolant to circulate through the engine or divert it to the radiator, depending on whether it needs to be cooled down or warmed up. This helps maintain optimal operating temperature for improved performance and fuel efficiency. If a thermostat fails, it can cause overheating, poor fuel economy, and other issues.
