DESCRIPTION
A thermostat is a component in a truck's cooling system that regulates the engine's operating temperature by controlling the flow of coolant between the engine and radiator. When the engine is cold, the thermostat remains closed, preventing coolant from circulating through the radiator and instead directing it back to the engine.
