DESCRIPTION
The thermostat housing (part number AR11501) is a component in a truck's engine cooling system. It is responsible for housing the thermostat, which regulates the engine's temperature by opening and closing to allow coolant to flow through the engine. The thermostat housing is typically made of aluminum or plastic and is located near the top of the engine block. It is connected to both the upper radiator hose and the coolant outlet on the engine block.
