The thermostat housing is a component of the engine cooling system that encloses the thermostat and connects the engine block to the radiator. It is responsible for regulating the flow of coolant through the engine to maintain the optimal operating temperature. The Cummins® part number 3035844 is a specific thermostat housing designed for use in Cummins® engines.
