DESCRIPTION
A Threaded Plug, also known as a pipe plug or a threaded cap, is a small cylindrical component that is used to seal the end of a pipe or fitting. The Threaded Plug has external threads that match the internal threads of the pipe, allowing it to be screwed into place. Once in place, it creates an air-tight seal which prevents leaks and maintains pressure within the system. Threaded Plugs can be made from a variety of materials including metal or plastic and come in various sizes and shapes depending upon their application. They are commonly used in automotive systems such as engines, transmissions and differentials to seal off openings during maintenance or repair work.
