DESCRIPTION
A Threaded Insert, also known as a Helical Insert, is a cylindrical metal component with internal threads that are used to repair damaged or stripped threads in materials such as aluminum, steel or plastic. The Threaded Insert is designed to be inserted into a pre-drilled hole and then threaded in place with the use of an installation tool.
