DESCRIPTION
A Threaded Plug, also known as Part Number 4944473, is a small component used in truck engines to seal off openings in the engine block. It is threaded to fit into specific holes and has a hexagonal head for easy installation and removal. The threaded plug is made of durable materials such as steel or brass to withstand high temperatures and pressures in the engine. Its main function is to prevent oil leaks and ensure proper lubrication of the engine parts. Without this component, oil can leak out leading to inadequate lubrication which can cause damage to the engine components over time.
