DESCRIPTION
A Threaded Insert, also known as a Helical Insert or Screw Thread Insert, is a small cylindrical metal component with internal threads that are designed to provide a strong and durable anchoring point for bolts or screws in materials such as plastic or softer metals. The Threaded Insert is inserted into a pre-drilled hole and then screwed in using a special tool called an installation tool. Once installed, the insert creates new threads that are stronger than the original material and can withstand repeated assembly and disassembly of bolts or screws without damaging the surrounding material. The 3377135 Threaded Insert is a specific part number used in certain truck components.
