DESCRIPTION
The Throttle Lever, also known as accelerator lever, is a component of a truck's throttle system. It is responsible for controlling the amount of fuel entering the engine by regulating the opening and closing of the throttle valve. The lever is typically located on or near the steering wheel and can be operated by hand or foot. When the driver presses down on the lever, it opens up the throttle valve allowing more fuel to enter into the engine which increases its speed. Similarly, when released, it closes down the valve reducing fuel intake and slowing down the vehicle. The Throttle Lever plays an essential role in ensuring optimal engine performance and efficient fuel consumption in a truck.
