DESCRIPTION
The Throttle Lever (Part Number: 3968379) is a truck component that controls the speed of the engine. It is typically located on the steering column or dashboard and is connected to the throttle cable. When the lever is moved forward, it opens the throttle valve, increasing fuel flow to the engine and causing it to accelerate. Conversely, moving the lever backward closes the valve, reducing fuel flow and slowing down or stopping the vehicle.
