DESCRIPTION
The Breather Tube, also known as the crankcase breather tube, is a component of the engine ventilation system in a truck. It is responsible for releasing excess pressure and preventing oil buildup in the engine. The breather tube connects to the valve cover and allows fresh air to enter while venting out harmful gases. This helps regulate the internal pressure and temperature of the engine, ensuring optimal performance and longevity. In addition, it prevents oil from being pushed out of seals or gaskets due to excessive pressure in the crankcase. Overall, the breather tube plays a crucial role in maintaining proper engine function and preventing damage from occurring.
