DESCRIPTION
A breather tube, also known as a crankcase breather tube, is a component of an engine's ventilation system. The 3607067 breather tube is responsible for releasing pressure and allowing fresh air to enter the crankcase as the engine breathes. This helps to prevent oil leaks and excessive pressure buildup within the engine. The tube is typically made from durable materials like rubber or plastic and connects from the valve cover to the air intake system. Over time, breather tubes can become clogged with debris or crack due to heat exposure, leading to decreased engine performance and potential damage if not replaced.
