DESCRIPTION
The Pressure Sensing Tube (part number 3607334) is a key component in the truck's engine oil system. This tube is responsible for measuring the pressure of the engine oil and transmitting that information to the vehicle's computer. The tube is typically made of metal and features a small opening or port that allows oil to flow through it. As oil flows through the tube, it creates pressure which is then measured by a sensor located at one end of the tube. This data is used by the vehicle's computer to monitor and control various aspects of engine operation, including fuel injection timing and turbocharger boost pressure. The Pressure Sensing Tube plays an important role in ensuring proper engine performance, as well as helping to prevent damage from low oil pressure conditions.
