DESCRIPTION
A breather tube, also known as a crankcase breather tube, is a component in a truck's engine that allows for the release of pressure and excess gases from the crankcase. The breather tube connects to the engine block and is designed to prevent oil from being expelled through the engine's vent system. This is achieved by allowing fresh air into the crankcase while expelling contaminated air out of it. The 3949061 is a specific part number for a breather tube used in certain truck models. It plays an important role in maintaining proper engine function and preventing damage caused by excessive pressure buildup within the crankcase.
