DESCRIPTION
The pressure sensing tube (part number 4956218) is a component found in diesel engines that measures the pressure of fuel in the fuel rail. The tube is made of durable materials that are resistant to corrosion and wear, ensuring accurate readings over time. It works by transmitting pressure changes to the engine control module, which then adjusts fuel flow accordingly. This helps optimize engine performance and efficiency while reducing emissions. Without a properly functioning pressure sensing tube, an engine may experience reduced power output or even fail to start altogether.
