Pressure Sensing Tube:
The Pressure Sensing Tube, also known as the PST, is a component of the fuel system in diesel trucks. It is responsible for sensing the pressure of fuel in the common rail and transmitting that information to the engine control module (ECM). The PST is a small tube that connects to the fuel rail and measures pressure changes by converting them into an electrical signal. This signal is then sent to the ECM which adjusts fuel delivery accordingly, ensuring optimal engine performance.
