DESCRIPTION
The pressure sensing tube with part number 4965388 is an essential component of a truck's engine system. It is responsible for measuring the oil pressure in the engine and transmitting that information to the oil pressure gauge on the dashboard. The tube is made of durable materials and is designed to withstand high-pressure environments without leaking or breaking. In operation, oil flows through the tube and exerts pressure on a diaphragm inside the sensor, which then sends an electrical signal to the gauge. A malfunctioning pressure sensing tube can lead to inaccurate readings on the gauge or even engine damage if oil pressure drops too low.
