DESCRIPTION
The pressure sensing tube (part number 4969532) is a component of the engine's fuel system. It is responsible for measuring the pressure of fuel in the fuel rail and transmitting this information to the engine control module. The tube is typically made of a durable material such as steel or aluminum, and has connectors on either end that attach to other components in the fuel system. When there is a change in pressure, it causes a corresponding change in resistance within the tube. This resistance change is then detected by sensors within the engine control module, which adjust various parameters such as fuel injection timing and quantity accordingly to ensure optimal engine performance.
