DESCRIPTION
A Pressure Sensing Tube (part number 5418414) is a component found in truck engines that measures the pressure of fluids, such as oil or fuel, within the system. The tube is designed to be highly responsive and accurate, ensuring that the engine's performance remains optimal at all times. As fluid flows through the tube, it compresses a diaphragm inside which then sends an electronic signal to the engine control module indicating the current pressure reading. This information is used by the engine management system to adjust various parameters such as fuel injection timing or turbocharger boost pressure.
