DESCRIPTION
The pressure sensing tube with part number 5505839 is a component typically found in heavy-duty trucks. It is responsible for measuring the pressure of fluids flowing through it, such as oil or fuel. The tube consists of a small chamber that houses a diaphragm and a pressure sensor. As fluid flows through the tube, it exerts force on the diaphragm which then moves and changes the resistance of the sensor. This change in resistance is then transmitted to an electronic control unit which translates it into a reading on the truck's dashboard display. The pressure sensing tube plays an important role in maintaining engine performance and preventing damage by providing accurate readings to help monitor fluid levels and pressures within critical systems.
