DESCRIPTION
A Turbocharger Kit, also known as a turbo kit, is an aftermarket performance upgrade for a truck's engine. It consists of a turbocharger, intercooler, and other necessary components to increase the power output of the engine. The turbocharger compresses air entering the engine to increase its density and provide more oxygen for combustion. This allows for more fuel to be burned efficiently and results in increased horsepower and torque. The intercooler cools the compressed air before it enters the engine to improve its efficiency further. Installing a Turbocharger Kit can significantly improve a truck's performance but should only be done by experienced professionals due to its complexity. Part Number 2881956 refers specifically to one type of Turbocharger Kit that is compatible with certain truck models.
