DESCRIPTION
The Turbocharger Actuator is an electronic device that controls the boost pressure of a turbocharged engine. It regulates the flow of exhaust gases into the turbocharger to ensure that the engine operates at peak efficiency. The actuator is controlled by the engine's electronic control module (ECM), which uses input from sensors to determine how much boost pressure is needed. The actuator itself consists of a motor, gearing, and a position sensor, all housed in a compact unit that mounts directly onto the turbocharger.
