DESCRIPTION
A Turbocharger is a component of a truck's engine that increases its power and efficiency by compressing incoming air. This particular model, with part number 3796023, is specifically designed for use in diesel engines. The turbocharger uses exhaust gas to spin a turbine which drives an air compressor. The compressed air then flows into the engine's combustion chamber at a higher pressure than normal atmospheric pressure, allowing for more fuel to be burned and more power to be generated. The result is increased horsepower and torque output from the engine without the need for additional displacement or cylinder count.
